Belize Vacation Package: Canopy to Coral.

Trip Summary:

•     Arrival: Meet and greet at PGIA International Airport, transfer to San Ignacio.
•     Accommodations: Cahal Pech Village Resort.

Day 1: Arrival in Belize

•     Transfer to San Ignacio and check-in at Cahal Pech Village Resort. (or similar)
•     Relax and enjoy the stunning views of the Belize River Valley from your hillside retreat.

Day 2: Xunantunich Maya Ruins & Horseback Riding

Your adventure begins with a peaceful horseback ride through the San Ignacio countryside along the Mopan River. Ride through lush landscapes before arriving at the iconic Xunantunich ruins, perched on a hilltop. Your guide will provide in-depth insights into the Maya civilization as you explore the grand temples and ball courts, including the towering El Castillo pyramid.

Barton Creek Cave Canoeing Adventure: Paddle through a Maya ceremonial cave system while learning about ancient rituals.

Day 3: Caracol Maya Ruins & Rio On Pools

Head deeper into the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve to explore the largest Maya site in Belize, Caracol. Your guide will lead you through its expansive plazas, massive temples, and ball courts, bringing to life the grandeur of the Maya Empire. Afterward, cool off at the beautiful Rio On Pools, a natural series of cascading waterfalls and pools perfect for a refreshing dip.

Day 4: Free Day to Explore San Ignacio

Explore the vibrant town of San Ignacio at your leisure or take advantage of one of the following add-on tours:

•     Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave Tour (US$185): A thrilling adventure into the Maya underworld, where you’ll hike, swim, and explore ancient artifacts and skeletal remains.
•     Belize Zoo & Baboon Sanctuary (US$185): See native wildlife in their natural habitats, including howler monkeys, jaguars, and tapirs.

Day 5: Cave Tubing & Ziplining (transfer to Belize City and then to San Pedro Ambergris Caye)

On the way back to Belize City, stop for a fun-filled day of cave tubing and ziplining. Zip through the jungle canopy before floating down the Sibun River, navigating through ancient cave systems used by the Maya for spiritual rituals. Enjoy lunch at the site before continuing to the coast.

Day 6: Snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley

After your transfer to San Pedro, embark on an unforgettable snorkeling adventure at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Swim alongside vibrant marine life, including rays and nurse sharks, in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Day 7: Free Day in San Pedro

• Enjoy a day of relaxation or explore the island at your own pace.

Additional Tour Suggestions:

•     Golf Cart Rental for Secret Beach (US$75/day): Spend a day at the famous Secret Beach for swimming and local cuisine.
•     Reef Fishing Adventure (US$200 per person minimum of 3 persons): Try your hand at catching local fish species, with a beachside BBQ to follow.

Day 8: Departure

• Transfer via domestic flight from San Pedro to PGIA International Airport for your international flight home.

Accommodations are Mid-budget. Black Rock Lodge, Cahal Pech, Midas (inland) Sunbreeze, Romons (island) Depends on availability.
