Amazing zoo experience!
Belize Zoo is wonderful! All native animals in natural habitat enclosures. We saw jaguars, tapirs, ocelots, pumas, scarlet macaws, toucans, and more. The animals are all rescues that can't be released to the wild. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about each species. Our kids (ages 7 and 10) absolutely loved it. Educational and fun. Highly recommend for families!

Best zoo we've visited
Belize Zoo is exceptional. Unlike traditional zoos, this one only has native species in naturalistic enclosures. The animals are rescues and ambassadors for wildlife conservation. Seeing jaguars, tapirs, and other iconic Belize animals up close was incredible. Guide was passionate and knowledgeable. Compact size means you can see everything without getting exhausted. Great for families and wildlife enthusiasts.

Perfect family tour
Took our grandkids (ages 5, 8, and 11) to Belize Zoo and they had a blast! Saw jaguars, ocelots, tapirs, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys, and more. Excellent wildlife experience
Belize Zoo exceeded expectations. All native species in natural enclosures - saw jaguars (amazing!), tapirs, pumas, ocelots, scarlet macaws, toucans, crocodiles, and more. Wonderful zoo
Belize Zoo is fantastic! All the animals are native to Belize and the enclosures mimic natural habitats. Seeing jaguars, tapirs, and scarlet macaws up close was special. Best zoo for kids
Our family loved Belize Zoo! The kids were fascinated by the jaguars, tapirs, and colorful birds. All animals are rescues in natural settings.
