Boat ride and ruins - perfect combo
Lamanai is awesome. The boat ride up the New River is part of the fun - saw crocodiles, tons of birds, iguanas. The ruins themselves are impressive. The High Temple is tall and offers great views over the jungle. Jaguar Temple and Mask Temple are both fascinating. Guide was knowledgeable about Maya history. Lunch by the river was good. Great day trip from Belize City.

Wonderful experience
Loved this tour! The boat ride through the jungle was beautiful - we saw crocodiles, herons, egrets, and howler monkeys. Lamanai ruins are well-preserved and impressive. The High Temple climb is worth it for the views. Our guide was great, shared lots of interesting information about Maya civilization. Lunch was included and tasty. Highly recommend this tour.

Great combination of nature and history
Lamanai tour was excellent. The riverboat journey is scenic and relaxing - wildlife everywhere including several crocodiles. The ruins are fascinating, much less crowded than other sites. We climbed the High Temple for panoramic jungle views. Guide was very knowledgeable about Maya culture. Lunch spot by the river was nice. Well-organized tour, good value.

Excellent tour
Lamanai is great. The boat ride through the jungle is part of the adventure - saw multiple crocodiles and lots of birds. The ruins are impressive with good restoration work. High Temple gives you awesome views over the surrounding jungle. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch by the river was nice. Well-paced tour, not rushed. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful and educational
We really enjoyed the Lamanai tour. The boat ride is beautiful and we saw great wildlife - crocodiles, herons, howler monkeys calling from the trees. The ruins are fascinating, particularly the masks and temples. Climbing the High Temple gives you fantastic views. Guide was great, explained the Maya history and significance of Lamanai. Lunch was included and good. Wonderful tour.
