Nature lover's paradise
Cockscomb is amazing for wildlife and nature. Didn't see a jaguar (they're rare and elusive) but saw incredible birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. The trails wind through pristine rainforest with beautiful waterfalls. Our guide was knowledgeable about the ecology and conservation efforts. It's about 2 hours from Belize City but absolutely worth it. Bring good walking shoes and bug spray. Perfect for nature enthusiasts.

Beautiful rainforest experience
We loved Cockscomb. The jaguar preserve is the world's first of its kind. While we didn't spot a jaguar (our guide said they're very secretive), we saw tons of other wildlife - toucans, morpho butterflies, howler monkeys, leaf-cutter ants. The waterfalls are gorgeous. Trails are well-maintained. Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about the ecosystem. Great day immersed in nature.

Outstanding nature tour
Cockscomb exceeded expectations. The rainforest is pristine and beautiful. We hiked to a waterfall which was spectacular. Saw lots of birds including toucans and mot-mots, plus butterflies everywhere. Our guide was passionate about conservation and knew every plant and animal we encountered. While jaguar sightings are rare, knowing you're in their habitat is thrilling. Wonderful tour for nature lovers.

Pristine rainforest
Great tour through Cockscomb. The preserve is beautiful - lush rainforest, rivers, waterfalls. We didn't see a jaguar but saw their tracks and learned a lot about them from our guide. Lots of other wildlife though - birds, butterflies, we even saw a boa constrictor! Guide was excellent, really knowledgeable about the ecology. The drive there is scenic too. Highly recommend for nature enthusiasts.
