We were a bit worried about time and the amount to do but this was well worth it! An amazing experience at an unbelievable price!

Our booked excursion was Belize City Tour, Belize Cave Tubing from cave #3, and Altun Ha Mayan City. My wife and I took our 1st Carnival Cruise and booked all of our Excursions on-line separate from the ones offered by Carnival Cruises. When we arrived in Belize we were met at the dock by our 2 tour guides Roberto and Abner (Abby) with Belize Fun Tours. Our only real big concern besides having lots of fun was to make sure we got back to the dock to board the ship before it left for the next port. Roberto immediately set our minds at ease already knowing exactly when we had to be back and which part of the tour to do first and how much time we had at each leg of the tour. We started with the Belize City Tour as we headed out for the Belize Cave Tubing. Both Roberto and Abner were a wealth of knowledge of the City of Belize, their Country and the Mayan People. Both were very friendly, out-going, courteous and entertaining the entire tour. Abner was our main guide on the Belize Cave tubing part of the tour. It took us maybe 20 minutes to hike to cave #3. He talked to us all the way to the cave entrance telling us all about the history of the caves and the National park we were hiking through. He then attached all of our tubes together and assisted us all the way through the caves, telling us all about them as we floated through them. We were a little bit ahead of schedule as we headed out for the Mayan ruins. We stopped at a local restaurant in which Roberto treated us to an authentic Mayan lunch of rice bean and chicken. Very delicious!!! Once arriving at the Mayan Ruins Roberto gave us both an unbelievably great tour with a wealth of information about the ruins and its ancient inhabitants. I thought he must have actually lived amongst the Mayans because he knew so much about the people and the ancient ruins. My wife actually got in a little bit of shopping and we made it back to the ship with 45 minutes to spare. Anyone using Belize Fun Tours, I would recommend highly these 2 tours guides Roberto and Abner with Belize Fun tours. They were both totally outstanding in every way. Also my wife and I were the only 2 that showed up for this tour and they still took us on the tour (an outstanding private tour as it was) which I know wasn’t very cost effective and I know for a fact that many other tours would not have done that for just 2 people . Many thanks to these two tour guides and Belize Fun Tours for helping to make our vacation Awesome!!

Awesome tour, we booked last minute while staying at the Radisson, we were unsure if it was possible to book with 1 day notice, but Louigi and the fun tours family emailed after the booking with our confirmation. Not only were they great with communication, but their pickup was on time and the tour was fantastic. We loved it so much we ended up booking our Lamanai Tour for our second day with them.

This was a great way to get our week in Belize started! I emailed Lou at Belize Fun Tours to see if he could set up a tour for our group of 6 and he promptly got back to me with a date. I had a little trouble booking online (it could have been me not understanding the booking process), but Lou was always available via email to walk me through it.

We had our own private tour and Neal, our Tour Guide, promptly picked us up at the Water Taxi stand at 8 a.m. We boarded the van and as we drove, he gave us information on the area, history and the people of Belize.

Contrary to what was on the website as the itinerary, he chose to first take us to Altun Ha to tour the Mayan ruins. It was a good decision because we not only avoided the crowds, but also arrived in the morning before the heat of the day. Impressive!

Next we drove to where we would be ziplining and cave tubing. All the time, Neal gave us more information and answered all our questions. Even though it is a bit of a long ride, it didn’t seem so bad when you had such a personable guide.

When we arrived, Neal carefully timed our Zip Line adventure to again avoid the crowds even though it was high time for many of the cruise ship groups to be there. He gave us choices as to when we wanted to have lunch, etc. We never felt like he was “running the show”, but rather being our guide so we could get the most out of the day.

After Zip Lining we had a delicious meal and time to relax.

Neal arranged prior to our lunch to have a specific guide for the cave tubing portion of the tour. We had an opportunity to change our clothes and she met us. It was a trek to the mouth of the caves and the only advice I think could be added to the website is that you wear water shoes that you can walk in over rough terrain.

Our guide for the Cave Tubing was a delightful young woman who, again, enthusiastically answered all our questions, stopped along the way for us to ask questions about the jungle we were walking through and made sure that we didn’t feel rushed. Later, I found that Neal had asked her to try to take her time so that all the crowds were cleared so we could leisurely float through the caves.

We had the day to explore and Neal made sure we had the best experience!

We had purchased a picture of our group taken during the Zip Line portion and because we reviewed and made our purchase at the very end of the day when things were closing up, I was a little unsure that our picture would get emailed to me. After waiting a few days and not seeing it in my email, I contacted Lou at Belize Fun Tour to ask for a contact email that I could follow up. He said he and Neal would look into it for us and that evening I received the picture in my inbox. That is customer care and service!

I would highly recommend this tour and Belize Fun Tours. It was a wonderful experience.

Highly recommend this tour group! We had a group of 9 and we had soooo much fun! We didntuhave to worry about taking pictures with our phone because Adrian was always taking pics of us! We enjoyed every moments of it. Leo was amazing too, he pulled of us during our cave tubing. They were patient, knowledgeable and very entertaining! Definitely book with them! We did the Altun Ha, Cave tubing and Ziplining! You gotta do all three ❤️
